Mr. John Williams
Mr. John Williams is presently engaged by GIZ as Long Term Energy Efficiency Expert in the project titled: “Market Entry into Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) for the productive sector in Ghana.” John Williams presents with over thirty years of hands-on field experience in absolutely every aspect of Sustainability including: Energy Efficiency, green buildings (design, construction and operations), building physics, Energy and Carbon management, Energy Audits, Renewable energy technology solutions, Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) as well as related training for all of these technical areas. John Williams is a sustainable & future cities consultant. John Williams holds postgraduate engineering qualifications from the University of Ibadan - Nigeria in Electrical Engineering, Aaborg University – Denmark in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He completed his professional doctorate study from University of Brighton – England in Science and Technology Education. In terms of professional certifications, John Williams holds Chartered Engineer status from Denmark and the United Kingdom. He holds Certified and Professional Engineering Licenses from the USA. John Williams holds other professional certifications from the United Kingdom including Member, British Institute of Facilities Management (MBIFM) and Member, Institute of Learning of London, (MiFL). John Williams has been actively engaged as international consultant for multi-national funding organizations including IFC- The World Bank Group, Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, (EBRD). For these funding bodies, He has delivered international consultancy in over Fifteen countries. John Williams has also delivered consultancy in over Twenty other countries, for national development organisations like ADETEF of France, DFID of the United Kingdom (which has a new name now) and USAID of the United States In terms of specific Energy Efficiency certifications, John Williams is IRCA Certified ISO 50001: Energy Management System Auditor and IRCA Certified ISO 14001: Environmental Management System Auditor. He is also an Accredited Trainer in these certifications. When not working as an engineering consultant, John Williams works as a University Lecturer. Some Universities where John Williams has plied his trade as a lecturer include: University of Brighton, University of Kent and University College London (UCL), all in the United Kingdom. Most Recently John Williams also worked as Teaching Fellow for Physics at Nazerbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Mr. Solomon Adjetey Sowah
Mr. Solomon Adjetey SOWAH is currently the Director, Power Generation and Transmission at the Ministry of Energy. He holds a MEng Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from the Technical University of Dresden, Germany, at the Institute of High Voltage and Current Engineering. He also holds Executive Masters in Business Administration, from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Solomon Adjetey has over twenty years’ experience in the Energy Sector of Ghana. He has been working with the Ministry of Energy since 1998 in the Power Directorate. He played significant roles in the National Electrification Scheme (NES) and led a team of engineers to develop a model for the calculation of access to electricity in Ghana in the year 2009. He contributed to the implementation of the NES which saw the increase in the national electrification access rate to electricity from 43% in the year 2000 to the current 85.17% (by way of the population). He has undergone training in various areas, including Project Management in the field of mid-voltage sub-stations, short courses on PV Solar, Improvement of Operation of Electric Power Facilities, and Management of Wind Power Development amongst others. He has also been involved in Value for Money (VfM) Audit processes for several rural electrification projects (both local and foreign funded), Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) related issues, and served on various Evaluation Panels and Committees. Mr. Adjetey is a Christian and has served and still serves on various Committees at the Trinity United Church, Legon, Accra. He is currently the Church Steward. He is married with a kid and other adopted children.
Mr. Cosmos Eminah
Mr. Cosmos Eminah is a Curriculum and Research Officer at the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA). He also serves as the Public Relations Officer of the agency. Cosmos holds an MPHIL in Science Education from the University of Education, Winneba and is currently a Doctoral Student in the University of Eastern Finland. As a Science Resource Person, he has participated in various STEM-related competitions and events within and outside Ghana. In the year 2017, he led a team of Ghanaian students to take the second position in the WORLD SMART STEM Competition organised in Washington DC, USA. He has been involved in the development of online resources, Manuals and training materials in science for various institutions. Cosmos is a resource person in training of teachers on how to implement STEAM-based learning approaches in lesson delivery. He was a member of the science panel that developed the standards-based curriculum for primary schools. Currently, he serves as one of the coordinators in charge of the nationwide training of Junior High School (JHS) teachers on the new curriculum.
Mr. Wisdom Ahiataku-Togobo

Mr. Mark Ofori Kwafo
Mr. Mark Ofori Kwafo is the Regional Coordinator, Environmental Sustainability Ecobank Anglophone West Africa. Has held various other positions at Ecobank Ghana including Head of Procurement and Project Manager Ecobank-Trust Bank integration. He previously worked at the Electricity Company of Ghana and Tema Municipal Assembly. He participated in various training courses including participation in Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance Summer Academy Frankfurt, Germany. Also, an Alumni of the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership. Mark holds an engineering degree from KNUST and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Ghana Business School.
Ms. Letitia Abra-Kom Nyaaba
Ms. Lititia Abra-Kom Nyaaba is a Deputy Director at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). She is a Chemical engineer and an environmentalist. She is also a Member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers. Ms. Lititia Abra-Kom Nyaaba has been working with EPA for eighteen years. She is responsible for promoting environmental stewardship through Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)administration, environmental compliance enforcement monitoring and awareness creation. She has in the past nine years worked at the Ghana National Cleaner Production Centre(GNCPC) of the EPA promoting Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production in Small and Medium Enterprises.
Dr. Nicholas Adjabu
Dr. Nicholas Adjabu is a qualified Medical Practitioner with specialty in Clinical Engineering and Health Technologies. He had his training in Medicine at the University of Ghana Medical School and Medical Engineering at Queen Mary, University of London. He is currently the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Unit of the Ministry of Health. He was the Deputy Director and the Head of the Clinical Engineering Department of Ghana Health Service. He has also worked with the World Health Organisation (WHO) as a Technical Officer and Temporary Adviser on Health Technology for WHO-AFRO and as a member of the Expert Advisory Group on Health Technology. He has worked on a number of projects including sustainable solar energy solution projects in health facilities.
Hon. Joseph Cudjoe
Hon Joseph Cudjoe is a Deputy Minister of Energy, responsible for Finance and Infrastructure. He is also the Member of Parliament for Effia Constituency.
Hon. Cudjoe served as a member of the select committee of Mines and Energy in the 6th Parliament of Ghana and the Vice Chairman of the same committee in the current Parliament. Prior to his political career, Hon Cudjoe was the Investment Manager of Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) for eight and a half years. Before joining COCOBOD, Hon Joseph Cudjoe worked as a Senior Consultant with SEM International Associates. Earlier he had worked as the Financial Analysis and Planning Manager at the Ghana branch office of ENO International, LLC, (a U.S based finance, investments and pre-financed procurements company) where he gained hands-on experience in reviewing of business plans, development of new businesses, financial planning and analysis, investment appraisals, modelling of financial decisions, credit and credit risk management, and financial projections. Hon. Cudjoe, has to his credit, the development of the pricing formula for the Government of Ghana Index Linked Bonds (GGILBs) during the government’s domestic debt restructuring in 2001 when N.P.P came into power to meet excessive debt level. From 2003 until he veered into politics, Hon Cudjoe was an instructor at the Ghana Stock Exchange and delivered training in corporate finance and investment analysis. His professional experience spans industrial training, financial investment management consultancy, and data analysis, an experience that he built through the lecturing of Financial and Investment Management, Quantitative Techniques, Statistics, and Production and Operations Management. Beside work experience in academia, finance and investment management practise, Hon Cudjoe is an Entrepreneur and a Businessman. Hon. Cudjoe holds BSc. Mathematics and MBA Finance degrees from University of Science and Technology, and the University of Ghana respectively, after pursuing his secondary education at Fijai Secondary School. He has value added qualifications in education, industrial training and accountancy.

Adelaide Benneh Prempeh, Managing Partner, B & P ASSOCIATES Adelaide is the Founder and Managing Partner of B & P Associates. She is a dual qualified legal practitioner in Ghana, England & Wales. In her 18 years of legal practice, she has represented a variety of clients in the areas of Energy & Natural Resources, Construction & Infrastructure, Project Finance & Development, Employment, Corporate Governance & Compliance, Restructuring & Insolvency, Investment Advisory, Commercial Transactions & Dispute Resolution. She has led the firm’s representation in a number of local and multinational clients including Renewable Energy companies operating within the Western and Eastern Africa regions. Adelaide is ranked by the Chambers and Partners Global Guide 2020 as a seasoned corporate lawyer with incredible insight into the commercial regulatory framework in Ghana. Adelaide is a Legal Consultant to the World Bank Group on Ghana’s Investment regime, a Tutor at the Ghana School of Law where she teaches Advocacy & Legal Ethics, and the Board Chair of the Ghana Netherlands Business & Culture Council.
